What payment methods do you accept?

We accept EFTPOS, Credit Cards, PayPal, and cash. You can pay online when booking your taxi through our system. In step 3 of the booking form, you have an option to choose your payment method. If you choose EFTPOS or Credi Card you will pay the driver once you reach your destination.

How do we find our taxi at the airport?

Your taxi driver will be waiting outside your arrival gate. They will be holding a tablet/phone with your name written on it. Your driver will also text or call you if there is any issues, so ensure you have your phone turned on and flight mode turned off. If you need help please call the 0800 phone number in your booking confirmation to connect with your driver.

How much does a taxi cost to or from the airport?

The cost depends on the distance of your destination address. To get an exact price please fill out the above booking form and in step two you will get a quote for different car options available.

How many people are allowed in the taxi?

Our drivers follow strict health and safety protocols. We allow up to four people in our taxi cars and with up to 3 large luggage bags or 4 medium size bags. If you have any extra luggage or unusual items please specify in the comments section of your booking form.

I have not received an email confirmation, is my booking confirmed?

Yes, your booking is confirmed. Please make sure you have entered the correct email and check your spam folder for the confirmation email from us. Please ensure you have filled out the booking form and successfully submitted it. Alternatively, give us a call or email booking@wellingtontaxis.co.nz to confirm your booking.

How do I cancel or make changes to my booking?

We provide free cancellations. To cancel or make changes to your booking simply reply to the confirmation email or contact us on the phone number above.

What happens when my flight is delayed or cancelled?

Please make sure to put your flight number in the booking. We will track your flight using the flight radar. We will accommodate any changes to your flight. If you wish to make any changes please contact us.

Do you provide child seats?

By law, taxis are not required to use child seats but we can provide child seats at your request. Please give us more details about the type of child seat and quantity you require in the comments section of your booking form.

Are there any extra charges?

No extra charges or hidden fees. We charge you the amount quoted on your booking confirmation.

Do you offer a discount for return trips?

Yes, we are happy to reward our loyal customers who frequently travel with us. if you book a return trip with us you will receive a 15% discount on your return trip. If you are a company who travels often please contact us for a customised deal.
